Here we took a bus to hike to the only fresh water lake on the islands. After a steep uphill hike, we encounter El Junco Lagoon,
the only fresh water lake in the Galapagos Islands. A sign explaining the lake. Another sign explaining how the Frigate birds clean their wings.

We were on the white beach on the right. Day 4 - 31 Dec 2011 Espanola (Hood) Island itinerary. Landing on the beach at Gardner Bay. A herd of Marine Iguanas. More Marine Iguanas.
Boats in the bay and sea lion pups in the rocks. Our first sighting of an immature Waved Albatross. We turned a corner in the path and there were the adults. These were performing the courtship dance.
